What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

The best thing about working as a reader is that moment when you really get to the point of the issue, and when what you say next really helps your client to see things clearly, as they are, not always as they think they are! It is in these moments that client’s regained their power in a situation, and realise that although we all have to answer to fate/destiny, the strength to change their lives is within them.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Being a Virgo, I am a perfectionist, which is sometimes annoying! I like to give 100% to everything that I do. I am also a Dog in Chinese astrology, so with both of these influences, it makes me a very honest person, and I constantly strive to do the best for my clients.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I have always had this gift, looking back on my life it was always there, but it really came to the forefront of my life when I was around 14. I began having prophetic dreams, and just sensing things, with a real sense of curiosity about the world, and what we are here for. I am still very curious and constantly study and work on developing my esoteric and spiritual knowledge. I honour my gift, and work very hard to maintain a sense of balance, there is no room for ego. I bought my first deck of Tarot cards when I was 19, and to be honest, have never been able to put them down.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

My most memorable reading was for a very young girl, of around 19. She had a boyfriend who she had been seeing for around 6 months. I kept on feeling that he wasn’t pulling his weight in the house and that because she was so tired, she was getting irritable with him, and they were arguing over this. Her grandma in spirit came through and mentioned this also, and said that he would be getting a better job, and she was not to worry, and that she would cope with all the changes to come. She kept re-assuring my client that it would be tough, but that they were meant to be together, and it would all work out. My client stated that they did not even live together, which I found puzzling, as I felt strongly that they were connected by home and very domestic type issues. The rest of the reading she found accurate, and understood, but we were both confused about the main message that came through.

Around three months after this, the client came to see me, with a scan photograph of her twin babies! I think the spirit world had been trying to re-assure her and support her through, without giving me the responsibility of mentioning pregnancy!

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I teach classes in the Tarot, and have in the last year released a Tarot meditation CD, which is a guided journey through the Major Arcane. This CD was created to help my Tarot students to really get to grips with the archetypes, and to work through their own issues that come up when facing certain milestones on the journey. The way I see it is that if we are going to use our skills to help others to move forwards in their lives, we have to be as clear about our own lives as possible. I am currently working on a book to accompany this CD.

I also work as a complementary therapist, offering Reiki, Crystal Healing, Reflexology, and Holistic Massage. All of these therapies have helped my spiritual development to grow.

Apart from that, it’s that old School of Life stuff really. Like most of us, I have been through some pretty challenging times, and come out the other side. This has made me stronger, but also more understanding of others, and I never judge. To do this work the judgment has to be removed. I approach all of my clients the same way, and confidentiality is a top priority.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

When we seek the advice of a psychic, or in fact anyone outside of ourselves, we need to question why we are doing so. More often than not, the answers we seek are actually within us, it’s just about learning to trust. Having a good reading, and receiving clarity, and understanding about our situation can help us to trust our inner voice.

I think the most important thing to consider when having a reading is reality. There is no magic wand, with all the spiritual guidance and psychic awareness in the world, if you want your life to improve, and to overcome your challenges, it really does depend on you. As a reader, I will offer guidance and empathy, and shed light on your situation. But when you put down the telephone, you are left with the reality that only you can change your life. That’s one of the things I like about my work, seeing people blossom, and grow into their own power and develop confidence and self-esteem.
