What do you most like about giving readings to clients?

I like the fact that a reading can help people. It can give them some hope for the future or maybe help them come to terms with a loss. I particularly like the ‘’counseling’ side of the job, although I am not a trained counseling (this is something I may do later). Being there for people to just talk to is beneficial I feel.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Yes, typical Libra in lots of ways. Very ‘girly’ and love clothes and make-up. But also very Cancerian, my ascendant sign. Moon in Pisces so have a lot of ‘watery’ elements which I think gives me empathy and emotional awareness.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

From quite a young age around ten I think. I remember knowing certain things would happen that did happen and I also had a few dreams where I saw myself in future situations. I just accepted this and never considered it to be psychic and was a bit amazed in my thirties when I was told I had a gift. That started me on the spiritual/psychic development path.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

Of late, I am remembering the readings where I pick up someone in spirit for a client. I am developing as a medium although I am not there yet. For one lady I kept getting the name ‘Margaret’ but she said her mother (who had passed over) was called ‘Marcia’ and readers never picked that up. I said, well, I was close. I also remember some of the more harrowing readings – such as picking up that a client’s brother had hanged himself.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have been interested in this work for years and now realise that I have always been aware of spirit. I am still developing and sitting in circles. I have had many spiritual experiences and have studied the Tarot for a long time as I find it fascinating. I have an amateur awareness of astrology, again a subject I have always enjoyed. I am considering training as a counselor.
I have a BA (Hons.) degree in Drama/Creative Writing but I don’t know if that’s any use to anyone and perhaps people don’t need to know their reader is an out-of-work actor! I have traveled and lived in both France and Germany and have some knowledge of these languages too so I consider myself a bit cosmopolitan, sophisticated and not in the least judgmental.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I think the phrase ‘the stars impel they don’t compel’ is important. When having a reading people should try and remember that there is such a thing as free will. A reading is for help and guidance not just for someone to sit back and think ‘I’ll just wait for Destiny to take over’. They should not hand all their power over to readers.
