What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy a good rapport with the client - when I hit the nail on the head of their current life situation and question it's just great. The most rewarding part of my work is when the client confirms the messages from spirit and also when they give me positive feedback and return to me with a positive outcome to the reading I gave them. I love to help clients to cope with bereavement and loss, and give survival evidence with the help from my spirit guides.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I am a typical Libran. I am kind, empathetic and I am also very patient and understanding. I have a natural healing ability as I have worked as a nurse for over 30 years, and after one has cared for the physical body caring for spiritual well-being seems a natural extension of my life's work. All things have to be in balance-which is like the sign for libra, the balance scales and similar to yin and yang .

Librans are deeply fair and like to be honest. I believe that everyone should receive a true and accurate reading, in order to help them on life's path. I always convey the truth and don't believe in lying during a reading just to please a client, as spirit would be most disapproving of this. I want to bring more light into a world that can sometimes be very grey and depressing. Librans love peace, harmony and beauty - we are constantly striving to make this a more beautiful and harmonious world...I feel I can really make a difference through the correct use of my gift and this is why I am now working as a psychic consultant for Psychic Sofa.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

As a young child of about four or five I would see spirits, and unfortunately I suppressed this, due to fear and from parental suppression of my gift although my father was a healer, and my mother was also psychic but had hidden and suppressed it herself. She is now 84 and has finally accepted this.
My Great Grandmother was a psychic medium, but it was all kept secret. At 18 my deceased grandfather gave me a message for my grandmother, I refused to listen, pretended I was imagining things, and I later regretted this deeply.

I then went on to study aromatherapy and complimentary medicine in order to help myself with addiction to prescription pain killers after a serious car accident, I couldn't work as a hospital nurse anymore, due to terrible pain I was almost confined to a wheelchair, but complimentary medicine healed me so I wanted to learn more about it myself.

I then went to live in the USA in an area known as St. Augustine, Florida for seven years .

It was a deeply spiritual place for me, during meditation I became aware of spirit trying to get through to me via the sense of smell - a beautiful fragrance would fill the room. I was afraid to accept my gift as I was quite skeptical and would keep trying to analyze the reasons for strange occurrences, even though I continued to work as an aromatherapist and healer I was always looking for a scientific explanation for everything. I then began to notice auras, which would show up illness/potential illness in the client. I studied reflexology and then crystal therapy. I started to go for psychic readings for myself, and they would always tell my I had my own psychic ability and that I would be working as a clairvoyant one day myself, but I still continued to doubt this as I was too busy with family, work etc...

I also had an affinity and the ability to communicate with animals telepathically, which I never questioned as unusual.
As years went by I slowly and gradually opened up to spirit contact, but I was still a little unsure of the best way to work with spirit.
Before my father passed away 6 years ago, he told me he would contact me from the other side. He was true to his word and I then began to believe in my abilities. I started to do Angel card readings for friends and family and then via word of mouth people would come to see me for readings. During these readings spirit would come through with amazing accuracy giving me names and messages for people I had no way of knowing anything about.I joined a healing circle, hoping to work as a healer, but whilst receiving healing from another healer, I had a tremendous psychic attack, which was not very pleasant, as I was not prepared at all. I asked God for guidance. I told the elders at the spiritualist church who advised me what to do to take control and use the gift of mediumship to help others. I then began to study further, and opened up more.

I was by now receiving messages all the time and even in the night I couldn't sleep properly due to spirit contact in the house I was living in Derbyshire. I later discovered that the house was situated near ley lines.

As spirit contacted me more and more, I had to learn not to approach strangers with messages from spirit before I had checked out the messages were from "the light" and I had much to learn regarding the filtering out of negative entities. I had to ensure that the messages could not cause harm or distress to anyone, so, I then waited until people came to me for messages. I also called on Archangel Michael to help me and prevent negativity and give protection and I always do this before a reading so only messages from love and light can get through.

I began to work on a psychic line in 2008 .I wanted to help as many people as possible with my gift. This gift is in clairvoyance, clairaudience, psychometry and mediumship which naturally compliment any healing work I do.
I now realise that the colours I could always see around people were Auras, and that I could sense illness and disease by looking at the person's aura, and over the phone I pick up this in my mind's eye even though I cannot see the person physically. I can describe them and their surroundings. I realise that this psychic gift has always been with me. I am so grateful for this and I want to spread light and happiness and help others.

I use the Tarot, Angel cards, Crystals and Aromatherapy as well as herbs, but usually I just tune in to the client and receive the pictures and messages sent to me by my Angel and spirit guide, and pass these directly on to the client. My angel/spirit guide is called, Ambrielle, and who I finally recognised as my guide 6 years ago, and who I now realise has been gently guiding me on this voyage of discovery all my life. I know that I am a disciple and I am spreading the gift of enlightenment, but I always stay humble as I realise that I am only an instrument of God and I always thank my guides after every reading.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

I was in a queue waiting for an appointment in a beauty therapists when I received a message for the lady working in reception, it was so strong I had to tell her and we then went on to sit all afternoon as messages came through from her father, who was in spirit, and who she had nursed through a terminal illness... she was so happy her face was lit up- I knew that I wanted to work with spirit in this way, to help those who had lost loved one's, and to give them evidence of survival after this life is over.

I also remember advising a lady over the phone about her proposed business adventure, and she rang me back six months later with the amazing news that everything I had told her had happened and she wanted more advice from me.

I helped a lady find a ring that she had lost - it was on a very high shelf in her bathroom, and I had told her I could "see it there", she was delighted.

A friend's grandfather (who had passed) appeared in a photograph and then disappeared and I was able to tell his wife exactly what he had looked like, although I had never met him-this helped her believe in his survival after death.


What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have a counseling qualification and over thirty years of work as a registered nurse, which I still do part time as well. I have also studied aromatherapy, crystal healing, reflexology and Indian head massage over the past twenty years. I also have experience with tarot and angel cards with which I work with to help clarify situations when required.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

To have an open mind. Clairvoyants don’t have all the secrets of the Universe but we can help to guide you.
