About Ian

Hello, welcome to my profile. I became aware that I was able to communicate with the spirit world in my childhood. My maternal grandmother and a great aunt were both mediums and they both gave me guidance on my ability to communicate with spirit and understanding how my skills could help other people. Later in life in my late 20’s I started going to a local spiritual church where I was able to share messages from spirit with other people. I developed my skills by attending two spiritual development courses, by doing this I became aware that I had various means in which I could talk to spirits. I developed my skills and I started being able to give many messages to people who attended Open Circles, later I started doing Podium Work, giving messages to a wider audience. This has led me to become a phone reader working for Psychic Sofa, which I enjoy and feel privileged that people call me to ask questions and that I’m able to provide answers for them from their loved ones and friends I the spirit world. I occasionally have Angels who come to me to pass on messages. I also have my spiritual guides who also help me during the readings that I give.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy being able to give readings to people as I know that it brings them comfort, joy and warmth, knowing that their loved ones and friends in the spirit world are looking over them and guiding them. Knowing that people seek comfort in this way gives me happiness that I have been able to receive and pass on messages from the spirit world.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I would say that the following best describes me as a typical Aries. Bold & Adventurous, fearlessness, bravery, and willingness to take risks. Energetic & Passionate, immense stamina and are full of enthusiasm. Direct & Honest, straightforward, and value truthfulness. Independent & Ambitious, leading with the head to make quick, decisive actions.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I became aware of my gift during my childhood, I didn’t know what this was, my grandmother and great aunt both realised what was happening and thankfully they both help me to understand what was happening and gave me guidance on how to use and develop my gift. Which has enabled me to go onto help many other people.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

I was at an open circle, and I gave a message to a woman who had come to the spiritual church with her mother. I remember the message started off with me getting that the young woman was having problems with her computer, she said no she wasn’t, I said it’s an electrical fault and you’ll need to take your computer in for some repairs. She said oh ok, but my computer is running fine. A couple of weeks went by and I saw the same young woman at church again, she came over to me and said, do you remember a couple of weeks ago you gave me a message about my computer having an electrical problem, and I said no it’s running fine, I said yes I do, she then said the following day after you gave me that message my computer did develop an electrical problem and I did end up having to take it in for repairs. So, you were right!

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have completed two spiritual development courses at my local Spiritual church, this has helped me to develop my listening skills both with the spirit world and with clients, this enables me to receive a give clear message and guidance to clients. A basic skill that I sometimes use is the pendulum, this is a simple technique that gives a simple yes or no answer to a basic question.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I think that the most important thing for a person to consider when they are deciding to have a psychic reading is to be open minded and be aware that spirit will guide you the best that they can.
