Hi, I’m a Tarot reader and I’ve been reading the cards for over 13 years. Tarot has been a huge part of my life for a long time, and over the years I’ve had some incredibly accurate predictions come through for my clients, including two marriages predicted down to the month, a house move, several promotions and even the breakdown of a car. However, for me, a reading isn't just about predicting what might happen. I like helping people understand what they’re really feeling, especially when they’re stuck in a situation and can't see the wood for the trees. Sometimes you already know the answer deep down, but you need someone to help you uncover it. My readings are honest, intuitive and focused on giving you something useful to take away with you.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I like the connection I get with people during a reading. Everyone comes to a reading for a different reason, and I find it really interesting to uncover what is actually going on beneath the surface. I particularly enjoy helping people who feel stuck or confused about a situation. I know from personal experience that sometimes the cards can bring things to light that you already knew deep down but hadn't quite been able to process or put into words. I’m a good listener and I don't judge people, so I want my clients to feel comfortable being completely honest about what's going on.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I’m a Virgo, and I’d say the practical and analytical side definitely fits me - not that I'm the most organised person in the world! I can be quite observant, and I tend to notice little details that other people might overlook. I also like to understand how things fit together rather than just accepting something at face value. I want people to come away from my readings with practical steps and clarity on what to do next.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I remember being intuitive from a very young age. I would sometimes know things before they happened, although obviously I didn't really understand what that meant when I was a child. My mum still loves telling the story of how, in the 90s, I insisted to her that there was going to be a power cut at my dad’s work - about two hours before it actually happened. It earned me the nickname 'Spooky Mulder' with my family for a long time! As I got older, I became much more aware of my intuition and how strongly I could pick up on people and situations. I've been reading Tarot for more than 13 years now, and over that time I've learned how to combine what I pick up intuitively with what the cards are showing me.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

Some of my most memorable experiences have been when clients have come back and told me that something I predicted had actually happened. I've had two marriages that I predicted down to the month, before the engagements even took place, as well as predictions around house moves, promotions and other major life events. Those moments always stand out because you never quite know how something is going to unfold when you're doing the original reading. I also really value the clients who come back for another reading. For me, that's a lovely indication that they found the first reading helpful and felt comfortable enough to return.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I think one of the biggest things I bring to my readings is my own varied life experience. I’ve experienced a lot and I’ve heard a lot over the years, so it’s very difficult to shock me! Whatever situation you’re going through, there’s a good chance I’ve heard something similar before. I have a lot of compassion for people who are going through difficult or complicated situations, and I don't judge. Sometimes people just need somewhere they can be completely honest about what’s happening without worrying about how it sounds. I think that life experience helps me to understand the bigger picture when I’m reading for someone. I’m not just looking at the cards in isolation - I’m listening to what you’re telling me and using my intuition and experience to help make sense of the situation. Where appropriate, I can also make recommendations around spell work and manifestation, if that's something you’re interested in exploring alongside your reading.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I think it's important to come into a reading with an open mind but also to remember that your life is still your own. A good reading should give you insight, not make decisions for you. I like helping people understand their situation, uncover what they're really feeling and work out what they want to do next. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to me. Sometimes that's exactly what a reading is for.
