I am a fantasy artist, who has fallen in love with the tarot. I have been reading the cards daily for the last year. They have helped me express and develop my artwork to a whole new level, and a strong bond has grown between myself and my cards. I am fascinated by their energy and their power. to move me to tears, or laughter. The symbols, the imagery and the pure magical presence of tarot has totally captivated me. They speak to me in a language I understand, and they are constantly guiding me, expanding my vocabulary.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

Reading for a client brings me intense satisfaction. Making a connection with someone through voiced thoughts, feelings, and visions. The pure pleasure and honour of being able to help someone find their path and connect with something greater than themselves is so rewarding. In this day and age, so many encounters with strangers are superficial. Tarot Time with someone is reaching out through the cards and connecting to them at a whole new level.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

As a Scorpio I am extremely emotional. I do forgive, but I don't forget, and I never give someone the opportunity to hurt me twice. I have re-invented myself many times in my life. I have an ability to move on and create something new out of a perceived failure. I am secretive and need to keep certain parts of my life and my feelings totally to myself. I am a control freak.... I control myself... but I am not interested in controlling others. I can't bear it if someone tries to control me.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I have always had feelings and connections with something unknown and unseen. I pick up on vibrations in places and houses and I get sensations about people and animals. My earliest memories of seeing and feeling things that were beyond my understanding was when I was no more than 6years old. I had an encounter with a spirit guide in a garden. I found it to be really comforting.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

The most emotional reading I have given was regarding a lady’s dog, who had passed. I could feel this boy’s presence so intensely. I even instinctively knew what his breed was. It was such a powerful experience. He was so joyful to be out of pain and the love that he had for her just exploded through the cards.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have a qualification in Reiki, and I feel that I am very imaginative, and I can think quickly. I don't talk too quickly, and I have clear voice. I like to think that I'm calm and have a relaxed approach.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

To be grounded, not to rush in. To have a very clear idea of what they want to ask, or if it's purely an open reading to have an open mind. Also, they need to understand that the reader is not a fortune teller, we read energy we don't tell the client what to do or how to react. We lay out life's possibilities.
