This year I hit my 50th birthday and it has been a massive turning point. Spiritually and non. I have been reading Tarot since I was 13. Professionally for the last 10 years. Not only it is my passion, but also my way to pay it forward in trying to advice and help others. Tarot (and similar tools) can be very powerful for insight and guidance. My way of reading is always intuitive. Meaning that, while I do pay attention to the cards drawn, the answer will always come from intuition or my guides. Currently I read full time, love to craft and paint and, if I have spare time, I volunteer for causes like homelessness and mental health. I am planning to keep reading and learning for a long time yet!
What do you like most about giving readings to clients?
Being able to empathize (I know some feel it can be negative, but it is extremely helpful too), being able to help and advise and also learning! There is not an end to learning Tarot in my opinion, and my clients are also helping me to be better as I help them. So it's a two way thing really. And did I mention I love it?
How would you say you are typical of your star sign?
As a Piscean, not so typical. For a starter a I can't swim hah....also my chart is very fiery. I have ASC in Leo and Mars at zenith Aries. Empathy and kindness are what I retain from my sign, together with being very sensitive. But I am also outgoing, determined and stubborn just like a Leo!
When do you remember being first aware of your gift?
I have memories going back since I was a small child. My childhood was a difficult one and I remember having precognitive dreams and talking to spirit as young as 5. At around 10 years old I was staying with an aunt of mine and I went to sleep. Woke up in the middle of the night to see what looked like a small child/person walking across the room. I did not feel scared, then noticed he/she had hands joined in prayer and wings! To this day I feel he is my little guardian angel. And I can say that I am grateful!
What is your most memorable experience with a client?
Telling someone that was quite young that they were going to be romantically involved with an older woman. Them being adamant as: no, no no way. Only for them to meet someone within the year that was 10 years older (but did look younger!). They are now happily married. And I kind of feel like I did a bit of matchmaking there! (Of course I also told him: I told you so afterwards).
What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?
I've experience of running Tarot workshops and classes (in London). Also public speaking (example the Tarot Festival in London), and still try to do so health permitting. Currently, I am studying (and almost completed) Forensic Psychology.
What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?
The QUESTION. Always. First of all ask what you want the answer too, skirting around it won't fool the Tarot. Secondly, make sure you want to know what the answer is, truly. Make sure to word it correctly and as such the Tarot does not lie, no matter what it will answer for the best for your higher good.
