I did not have the happiest of childhoods. For various reasons I needed to know the moods of my parents before I got home from school. Without really understanding what I was doing I was developing my psychic energy so that I could “read” the room. Once this psychic energy was released there was no going back and over a period of time and with training this developed into mediumship.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

The satisfaction of seeing a client go from a state of confusion, anxiety or indecision to one of clarity, hope and determination. When a client gains insight into their situation, understands potential paths forward or connects with their inner strength it is a deeply rewarding experience. The ability to bring messages of healing, comfort and love to grieving people enabling them to move forward in their lives is profoundly meaningful.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

In many ways I do embody the traits of Aries. I am not afraid to jump into new experiences or to face challenges head on. I gave a positive outlook on life even when things go wrong. I just need to control the impulsiveness Aries trait especially when shopping!

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

As a teenager probably about 15 when I started to work with the energy. Up until then I had assumed that everybody was aware of spirit but just didn’t like talking about it!

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

Helping a client who blamed herself for her son’s passing by communicating with her son and reassuring her that she had no part in his passing. Working with several clients who had been single for some time encouraging them that they would meet their life partners and they did!

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have demonstrated in spiritualist churches for over 30 years. I also teach mediumship and many of my former pupils are now working mediums. I also run workshops on introductions to mediumship, psychic development, energy work and angel card readings.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

You must take time before your reading to reflect on what you hope to gain. Do you want guidance on a specific relationship, career path or personal challenge? Are you seeking connection with a departed loved one (which requires a medium)? Without clear intentions the reading might feel vague or unhelpful. Be open minded be willing to consider different perspectives and insights. Being too closed off or sceptical can hinder the flow of information. However, do be wary of anyone who promises to remove curses or spells for large amounts of money. Finally, always choose a reader who ‘feels’ right and enjoy your reading.
