I have been doing readings internationally for over twenty years. My ancestry is Native American, Creole and Irish so a connection to the spiritual was destined to happen. My Nan could read tea leaves and tell you who was about to call on the phone. I started doing the same thing. From a young age, I could see spirits and I would know what was about to happen. I found that people around me would seem lost in thought and I would ask them what was wrong. Usually they would say that nothing was wrong. Somehow I would blurt out the answer to what was bothering them. Needless to say that was unnerving for both of us! I had no idea why I knew this information. It took a very long time to understand that I am an Empath and can sense the thoughts and feelings of others and see the most likely outcome or solution. I took Reiki classes and realised that it really helped me to ground my energy. It also opened up my ability to see the world more clearly. In the end I am the friend people call when they have run out of ideas or they need a shoulder the cry on. Also, people trust me and know that I will keep their secrets. I embraced that role and decided to do readings for people outside of my friends and family. I have been lucky enough to meet some very fantastic people from all walks of life and do readings for them.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy helping people to become aware of details they may not be able to see for themselves. Once they have the information, they can make their own decisions more clearly. It is lovely when someone has a sense of peace in a difficult situation. "Peace of mind is priceless." I am a big believer in Change your thoughts, Change your life. If I can be a friend when someone needs it, then I am doing my job. I only wish the best for people and will do what I can to help.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I tend to be quite hardworking, a good listener and non-judgmental. I can always pick out the most expensive jewellery in the shop without trying! Also, I can spot a deception a mile away.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

As a child my bedroom would be full of "people". I had tea parties with them and my stuffed animals. When anyone else would be about to open the door, a little girl in a white dress would look towards the door and then run away. I never knew where she went. Then, they would all disappear. I knew they were my Spirit Guides with a few friendly ghosts.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

A new client came to see me. She made it very clear she did not believe in any of "this stuff" but her friend had bought her the reading as a birthday gift. I did tell her she did not have to get a reading. She said she would just do it. With her lack of enthusiasm, I still felt obligated to tune in and help in case she still could benefit from a reading. I noticed that her energy was a bit scattered so I had her take a few deep breathes. I put a few cards out and it appeared that her job may change to a higher level very soon perhaps in the next week. She said, "No. I've been at my job for years and it is fine. I'm not looking to change anything." As I was finishing her reading her mobile phone rang. She did not answer it. She left the shop and then returned and told me that apparently her Manager was leaving and wanted to speak to her about taking over the Manager role. She then stated that she now believed in "this stuff".

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I must have been a Nun or Priestess in a past life as I would have strangers profess their problems to me while in a lift. I realised that I needed to understand myself better and looked into various classes on Tarot, Ghosts, Mediumship, Reiki, Past Lives etc. I was very lucky to be able to take classes with some very well known authors and teachers. I like to use Tarot or Oracle Cards, Runes, Candle Wax, Sand, a Pendulum or just my Psychic Intuition during readings. I am also a Reiki Master so am happy to send healing energy.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I believe someone should be open to understanding themselves more before getting a reading. You make your own decisions but the reading may be able to provide insights to help you on your way. Plus, it is nice to have a friendly, non-judgmental person to talk to when needed.
