The Six of Wands talks about victory and success and in most tarot decks we usually see a young man on a horse. However, in the Mythic deck we see a young man holding an animal up in the air; he looks proud as he has achieved something. Has he just saved the animal? Has he won it back from an intruder? Or is he just happy to be back in his home land?
Whichever one, the Six of Wands speaks about achievements. It indicates that no matter what you are going through you are going to come out good and you are going to come out clean. This is a time of success and others around you will also be proud of what you have achieved, but most of all you can reap the benefits of your own success! So give yourself a pat on the back and appreciate how far you have come.
Sometimes the card can point to public recognition or it can be an indication that you are going to receive an award or be promoted in some way or perhaps you are trying to promote yourself? It’s important to study this card hard when it turns up in a reading as although it points to success it also asks you to revaluate things slightly, as although success lies ahead in the future it may be wise to start thinking or planning things more constructively to assure the best possible outcome.
For example, you may need to use a different agency or advertise your products slightly differently. Are the people around you serving you justice? Perhaps it’s time to start things up alone, and if you do, remember The Six guarantees that you will be lucky!
The only downside to this card is that it can sometimes portray someone who is a little egotistical or arrogant. Perhaps someone that is so determined and so ambitious that a little competition could be waiting ahead too. If this is the case then keep the power of the Six of Wands and do not allow any kind of inferior to bring you down. It may even help to mediate on the picture of the Six, for encouragement and guidance.
