Standard Website Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY.
1. THE FOLLOWING DEFINITIONS AND RULES APPLY IN THESE TERMS.
App: the “Psychic Sofa” mobile application available via Apple iOS and Google Play (Android), operated by Psychic Sofa, and governed by separate App Terms and Conditions.
Booking: the booking made by you of Reader Services, which is confirmed in accordance with the applicable booking method and, where relevant, accepted by a Reader.
Fee(s): the fees payable by you for accessing Reader Services, as determined by the relevant Reader Service selected, the communication method used (including telephone, mobile, landline, text message, email or App), and as displayed on the Website at the time of Booking, such fees do not include any mobile network, access or third‑party charges imposed by your telecommunications provider, for which you remain solely responsible.
Material: free informational content published on the Website which does not form part of the Reader Services, including (without limitation) general horoscopes, articles and editorial content.
Reader: an independent psychic professional introduced to you through the Website for the provision of Reader Services.
Reader Services: the psychic reading, consultation or other related service provided by a Reader to you for entertainment purposes only, delivered via telephone, text message, email or such other methods as may be described on the Website or App from time to time.
Website Services: the services provided by Psychic Sofa consisting of: operating and maintaining the Website and App; facilitating Bookings between you and Readers; processing payments (including the Fees); and related administrative and support services, but expressly excluding the provision of any Reader Services, which are provided solely by Readers.
You/Your: the individual accessing the Website and booking Reader Services for personal use.
2. ABOUT US, OUR WEBSITE AND OUR SERVICES
2.1 Company Details.
We are Psychic Sofa Limited (company number 09255610) (referred to in these Terms as “Psychic Sofa”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are a company registered in England and Wales with our registered office at Alex House 260/268 Chapel Street, Salford, Manchester, M3 5JZ).

We operate the website application https://www.psychicsofa.com/ (Website), and the Psychic Sofa mobile application.

2.3 These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern:
2.3.1 your access to and use of our Website; and
2.3.2 the Website Services we provide, including facilitating booking of Reader Services (see clause 5).
These Terms do not govern the Reader Services themselves, which are provided by independent Readers.
2.4 Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing, browsing or using our Website or accessing, using or booking services through it, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to comply and be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Website and/or any Website Services.
2.5 Copy of Terms. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference.
2.6 We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our Website or Website Services, the version of the Terms in force at that time will apply. Please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
2.7 We may update and change our Website from time to time to reflect changes to our services, our user’s needs and our business priorities. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any major changes.
3. THERE ARE OTHER TERMS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU
3.1 These Terms refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of our Website and the Website Services:

3.1.2 Our Cookie Policy (https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/cookies), which sets out information about the cookies on our Website.
3.1.3 Our Refunds Policy (https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/refunds), which sets out information about how to claim a refund.
3.2 If you download or access our App, our App Terms and Conditions https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/app-terms will apply to the use and access of the App.
4. DISCLAIMER
4.1 Independent Readers
Psychic Sofa operates as an online platform enabling users to access services provided by independent Readers. Psychic Sofa does not employ any Reader and does not provide the Reader Services. Each Reader acts independently and provides services directly to you. Any Reader Services give rise to a separate arrangement solely between you and the Reader, and both you and the Reader are solely responsible for those interactions.
4.2 ALL PSYCHIC READINGS, CONSULTATIONS AND RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. They are not in any way intended to provide or constitute, and must not be relied upon or treated as, medical, financial, legal, psychological, personal or other professional or specialist advice of any kind.
4.3 Nothing on this Website, or communicated during any Reader Services including a reading, consultation or related service, is intended to replace advice from a qualified professional or specialist. If you require medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice or support, you should seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional or specialist.
4.4 By using this Website or engaging in Reader Services (including any a psychic reading, consultation or other related service), you acknowledge and agree that:
4.4.1 no advice, guidance, recommendations, instructions or directions are being given;
4.4.2 any statements made during any Reader Services including in a reading, consultation or other related service are subjective, interpretive and non‑factual in nature; and
4.4.3 you remain solely responsible for any decisions you make or actions you take.
4.5 A Reader, may from time to time, express a personal impression, belief or opinion. Any such belief, opinion or expression does not constitute advice and should not be relied upon. Readers do not provide assurances, predictions or guarantees as to outcomes.
4.6 Readers do not diagnose medical, physical or mental health conditions and will not provide guidance, instruction or information in relation to matters including, but not limited to, illness, treatment, pregnancy, death, legal, financial or investment related matters, or make binding or verifiable claims.
4.7 Psychic Sofa does not:
4.7.1 endorse, recommend or guarantee any Reader;
4.7.2 verify the accuracy, completeness or reliability of statements or content made or provided by a Reader; or
4.7.3 make any claims regarding the results, outcomes or effectiveness of any Reader Services.
4.8 Nothing in this clause 4 (Disclaimer) excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to this, Psychic Sofa will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from reliance on statements, opinions, content or otherwise provided by a Reader, where such loss or damage results from decisions or actions taken by you following any Reader Services.
4.9 The content and Materials on our Website are provided for general information only. It is not intended to constitute advice on which you should rely. You should obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from taking, any action based on content or Materials on the Website.
4.10 While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees (whether express or implied) that the content or any Materials are accurate, complete or current.
5. Services
5.1 Your use of the Website, and your access to any services arranged through them, are governed by these Terms, subject always to the distinction between:
5.1.1 the Website Services, which are provided by Psychic Sofa; and
5.1.2 the Reader Services, which are provided independently by Readers.
Nothing in these Terms creates any obligation on Psychic Sofa to provide Reader Services. Any Reader Services are provided solely by the relevant Reader and form a separate arrangement strictly between you and that Reader.
5.2 Website Services (Psychic Sofa)
5.2.1 Psychic Sofa provides the Website Services, which consist solely of:
5.2.1.1 operating, hosting and maintaining the Website;
5.2.1.2 enabling you to view Reader profiles, Reader availability and available Reader Services;
5.2.1.3 facilitating Bookings between you and Readers;
5.2.1.4 collecting and processing payments (including the Fees) on behalf of Readers; and
5.2.1.5 providing related administrative, technical and customer support services.
5.2.2 Psychic Sofa does not provide Reader Services and does not control, direct or supervise how Readers perform Reader Services.
5.2.3 Psychic Sofa is not responsible for matching users with any particular Reader and makes no guarantees as to compatibility or satisfaction.
5.2.4 By accessing or using the Website Services, you agree that you will not:
5.2.4.1 use the Website or Website Services in any way that facilitates, encourages or involves criminal activity;
5.2.4.2 use the Website or Website Services for any purpose other than personal, non‑commercial use;
5.2.4.3 engage in any conduct via the Website or Website Services that is illegal, abusive, obscene or grossly offensive; or
5.2.4.4 record, use or disclose personal data relating to another user, a Reader or their use of the Website, without their express consent.
5.2.5 Psychic Sofa does not guarantee the continued availability of the Website, any feature, or any Website Services for any period of time.
5.3 Reader Services (Readers)
5.3.1 Psychic Sofa operates an online platform that connects users, via the Website, with independent Readers who offer Reader Services.
5.3.2 Psychic Sofa does not guarantee the availability of any particular Reader, Reader Service, communication method or duration, or that any Reader will continue to offer Reader Services for any period of time. Availability may vary and Reader Services may be withdrawn, rescheduled, limited or suspended from time to time.
5.3.3 Reader Services may include (without limitation) readings or consultations delivered using practices such as numerology, tarot card readings, runes, oracle cards, clairvoyance and other spiritual or interpretive practices described on the Website or App from time to time.
5.3.4 All Reader Services are provided solely by the relevant Reader, and any arrangement for Reader Services is strictly between you and that Reader.
5.3.5 You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking or accessing Reader Services. By engaging in Reader Services, you acknowledge and agree that:
5.3.5.1 Reader Services are subjective in nature and based on the Reader’s personal intuition or interpretive practices;
5.3.5.2 no outcomes, results or predictions are guaranteed; and
5.3.5.3 Reader Services must not be relied upon as medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
Your attention is drawn to clause 4 (Disclaimer), which applies in full to all Reader Services.
5.3.6 Reader Services may be accessed via the Website, App, telephone, text message or email, depending on the Reader Service selected.
5.3.7 Telephone readings may be recorded for quality assurance, training, compliance, legal, governmental or regulatory purposes. Any personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5.4 Responsible Use
5.4.1 We encourage responsible use of the Website Services and Reader Services.
5.4.2 Reader Services are provided for entertainment purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice, support or treatment of any kind.
5.4.3 If you believe that you are using the Reader Services too frequently, or becoming reliant on them for any reason, including decision-making or reassurance, please contact the Psychic Sofa Customer Services Team for support. Friends or family members who have concerns about another user’s use of the Reader Services may also contact the Psychic Sofa Customer Services Team, subject to applicable data protection laws.
5.4.4 Where appropriate, Psychic Sofa may implement safeguards, including temporarily or permanently restricting access to the Website Services.
5.4.5 The Psychic Sofa Customer Services Team is available weekdays from 9am to 6pm GMT and can be contacted on 0161 784 1073, at enquiries@psychicsofa.com or through the Psychic Sofa live chat support which can be accessed here: https://www.psychicsofa.com/contact-us.
6. Booking Process
6.1 Through the Website, you may browse available Reader Services, view Reader profiles and make a Booking using the communication method offered for the relevant Reader Service.
6.2 To make a Booking, you must follow the instructions displayed on the Website and provide all information reasonably required, including selecting the Reader, Reader Service type, communication method and duration (where applicable).
6.3 Payment of the applicable Fees is required at the time of Booking or before the Reader Services are accessed (depending on the payment method selected). The amount payable, payment method and applicable rates will be clearly displayed or communicated to you before the Booking is confirmed.
6.4 Depending on availability and the Reader Service selected, you may make a Booking using one of the booking methods made available by Psychic Sofa from time to time. This may include immediate connection with an available Reader, requesting notification when a Reader becomes available, or submitting a request for a non‑live reading.
6.5 The applicable booking method, confirmation process and any response times will be explained to you through the relevant booking channel at the time you make your Booking, which may include information provided on the Website or App, by telephone prompts, by text message, by email, or through other communications made available by Psychic Sofa in connection with the Reader Services.
6.6 A Booking is only confirmed once payment has been authorised and confirmation has been issued. Psychic Sofa is not responsible for failed or incomplete Bookings caused by payment issues, technical or systems errors or incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.
6.7 If you cancel a confirmed Booking, or if a Reader is unable to fulfil a Booking and cancels, any retention or refund of Fees will be handled strictly in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6.8 For telephone‑based Reader Services, you may be offered the option to extend the duration of your reading at the end of the call. Where available, extensions may be made in increments of 10, 20 or 30 minutes by following the voice prompts. Any extension is subject to additional Fees, which will be communicated to you at the time and charged accordingly.
7. Reader Testimonials
7.1 Psychic Sofa may review feedback received from users about Readers. Where negative feedback is provided, this may include reviewing relevant call recordings or other communications relating to the Reader Services. Where appropriate, concerns raised will be managed directly with the relevant Reader.
7.2 You acknowledge that Reader Services are subjective in nature and that not every Reader will be suitable for every user. Where you feel that you did not connect with a Reader, refunds may be offered strictly in accordance with clause 9 (Refunds).
7.3 Where feedback relates to a perceived lack of connection or satisfaction with a Reader, Psychic Sofa may determine whether it is appropriate to publish that feedback to the Reader’s profile, acting fairly, consistently and transparently.
7.4 Psychic Sofa will not suppress or selectively omit feedback in a manner that would mislead users. However, Psychic Sofa may decline to publish feedback where it is reasonably considered to be abusive, offensive, irrelevant, duplicated, factually inaccurate, submitted in bad faith, or where publication would otherwise be misleading when viewed in context.
7.5 Readers may be allocated a satisfaction or connection rating based on user feedback received. Where a Reader’s rating falls below 97%, Psychic Sofa may review that Reader’s continued participation on the Website, without obligation to disclose internal thresholds or decisions.
8. Fees and Payment
8.1 You must pay the applicable Fees for any Reader Services accessed through the Website. The Fees payable, method of payment and the applicable rates will be clearly displayed or communicated to you at the point of Booking.
8.2 Psychic Sofa reserves the right to amend the Fees at any time. Any change to Fees will not apply to confirmed Bookings made prior to the revised Fees being published on the Website.
8.3 By accessing the Reader Services, you confirm that you are the bill payer, or that you have the bill payer’s permission, to use the selected payment method, including entering card details or calling any chargeable telephone numbers listed on the Website.
9. Refunds
9.1 We hope that you will enjoy the Reader Services. However, if you are dissatisfied and wish to request a refund, you must follow the process set out in our Refunds Policy, available at https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/refunds
9.2 Refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed in accordance with the Refunds Policy, taking into account the nature of the Reader Services, the feedback provided and any applicable usage or time limits.
10. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
10.1 Our Website is made available free of charge.
10.2 You may only use the Website, the Website Services and obtain Reader Services if you are over 18 years old. By using the Website and engaging with Readers, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
10.3 You must not use the Website or the Website Services in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the Website or impairment of its availability or accessibility, or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.
10.4 You must not misuse our Website or Website Services by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with our Website or any part of it. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Website, the server on which our Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Website or any other equipment or network connected with our Website. You must not interfere with, damage or disrupt any software used in the provision of our Website or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party on which this Website relies in any way. You must not attack our Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Website will cease immediately.
10.5 You must not use the Website for any purposes related to marketing without the express written consent of Psychic Sofa.
10.6 We do not guarantee that our Website, or any content or Materials on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Website for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
10.7 You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms of service, and that they comply with them.
10.8 In some circumstances, we may need to fix bugs, instal updates and perform general maintenance of the Website. We will try to schedule maintenance during times where use of the Website is lower than normal, but this may not always be possible.
10.9 In the event that we are required to perform emergency maintenance and/or suspend access to the Website Services where in our reasonable discretion we see the need to, we will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website is available again as soon as we consider it safe to do so.
User Account
10.10 In order to access Website Services on the Website, you will be required to create a user account. You agree by creating the account to provide accurate, current and complete information.
10.11 You further agree, and warrant that by creating a user account, that you are 18 years of age or older.
10.12 If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
10.13 You are permitted to maintain only one account on the Website. Creating multiple accounts, including for the purposes of accessing promotional offers more than once, circumventing restrictions or for any other misuse of the Website is strictly prohibited.
10.14 We have the right to suspend or disable any user account (including any related user accounts), user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in the reasonable opinion of Psychic Sofa, you have failed to comply with any provisions of these Terms. In such cases, we may remove or restrict access to the Website Services and any related access to Reader Services, and, to the extent permitted by law and subject to any statutory rights, no refunds will be issued for remaining balances or unused credits.
10.15 If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your username, identification code or password, you must promptly notify Psychic Sofa at enquiries@psychicsofa.com.
No text or data mining, or web scraping
10.16 You shall not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to our Website or any services provided via, or in relation to, our Website (including the Website Services) for any purpose, including the development, training, fine-tuning or validation of AI systems or models. This includes using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of):
10.16.1 any “robot”, “bot”, “spider”, “scraper” or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code, process or methodology to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish any portion of our Website or any data, content, information or services (including the Website Services) accessed via the same.
10.16.2 any automated analytical technique aimed at analysing text and data in digital form to generate information or develop, train, fine-tune or validate AI systems or models which includes but is not limited to patterns, trends and correlations.
10.17 You shall not use, and we do not consent to the use of, our Website, or any data published by, or contained in, or accessible via, our Website or any services provided via, or in relation to, our Website (including the Website Services) for the purposes of developing, training, fine-tuning or validating any AI system or model.
10.18 The provisions in this clause should be treated as an express reservation of our rights in this regard, including for the purposes of Article 4(3) of the Digital Copyright Directive ((EU) 2019/790).
10.19 This clause will not apply insofar as (but only to the extent that) we are unable to exclude or limit text or data mining or web scraping activity by contract under the laws which are applicable to us.
11. Material on the Website
11.1 Psychic Sofa is the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website and in the content and Materials published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
11.2 Your use of the Website, Website Services, content or Materials does not grant you any rights in, or licence to use, Psychic Sofa’s intellectual property, including (without limitation) trade marks, logos, graphics, photographs, animations, videos and text, or the intellectual property of third parties made available on the Website, including the Readers and their content including any content comprised in the Reader Services.
11.3 You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our Website for your personal, non-commercial use only, and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content or Materials posted on our Website, provided that you must not modify the paper or digital copies of any content or Material you have printed off or downloaded in any way and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
11.4 The status of Psychic Sofa (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on the Website must always be acknowledged, except where the content is user‑generated.
11.5 You must not use any part of the content or Materials on the Website for commercial purposes without first obtaining a written licence to do so from Psychic Sofa or its licensors.
11.6 If you print off, copy, download, share or repost any part of the Website in breach of these Terms, your right to use the Website will cease immediately and you must, at Psychic Sofa’s option, return or destroy any copies of the content or Materials you have made (except that you are permitted to print off a copy of these Terms).
12. Our trade marks are registered
12.1 PSYCHIC SOFA and related logos are UK registered trade marks of Psychic Sofa Limited. You are not permitted to use them without our approval, unless they are part of material you are using as permitted under clause 11 – Material on the Website.
13. Rules about linking to our Website
13.1 You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
13.2 You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
13.3 You must not establish a link to our Website in any website that is not owned by you.
13.4 Our Website must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our Website other than the home page.
13.5 We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
13.6 The website in which you are linking must comply in all respects our Acceptable Use Policy (https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/acceptable-use).
13.7 If you wish to link to or make any use of content on our Website other than that set out above, please contact enquiries@psychicsofa.com.
14. Our obligations
14.1 Psychic Sofa will provide access to the Website and the Website Services with reasonable skill and care. We will use reasonable endeavours to correct any material errors or omissions in the Website Services as soon as reasonably practicable, after they are brought to Psychic Sofa’s attention, to the extent permitted by law. This obligation applies only to the Website Services and does not extend to any Reader Services.
14.2 Psychic Sofa does not give any warranties or make any representations regarding the accuracy, quality, reliability or outcomes of any Reader Services, which are provided independently by Readers.
14.3 Psychic Sofa does not warrant or represent that any information, content (including the Materials), opinions or statements made available on or via the Website (including statements made by Readers, advertisers or other third parties) are accurate, complete, reliable or suitable for any particular purpose.
14.4 Reader Services are provided for entertainment purposes only and must not be considered or relied upon as a substitute for specialist or professional advice of any kind, including (without limitation) legal, medical, financial or psychological advice.
14.5 Where our Website contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.
14.6 We do not guarantee that the Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access the Website. You should use your own virus protection software.
15. Liability
15.1 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
15.2 The Website and Website Services are provided for domestic, private and entertainment use only. You agree not to use our Website or Website Services for any commercial or business purposes. Psychic Sofa shall have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
15.3 If defective digital content supplied by Psychic Sofa damages a device or digital content belonging to you, and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable skill and care, we will either repair the damage or pay appropriate compensation. We will not be liable for damage that could have been avoided by following our advice to apply updates provided free of charge, or for damage caused by failure to meet minimum system requirements or follow installation instructions.
15.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Psychic Sofa shall not be liable for:
15.4.1 any decisions, actions or omissions taken by you as a result of information, opinions or content provided on the Website or during the provision of Reader Services, or any loss or damage arising from reliance on such information where that loss results from decisions or actions taken by you;
15.4.2 any dealings, communications or arrangements between you and third parties (including, without limitation, Readers, advertisers or promoters) that take place using or are facilitated by the Website or the Website Services; or
15.4.3 any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of your use of the Website or the Website Services, or of any breach of these Terms.
16. Suspension, Restriction or Termination
16.1 Psychic Sofa may suspend or restrict your access to the Website Services where it reasonably believes that the Website Services or Reader Services are being misused, accessed in breach of these Terms, relied upon excessively, or used in a manner that raises safeguarding, welfare or vulnerability concerns or may harm other users, Readers, Psychic Sofa, the integrity of the Website or Psychic Sofa’s intellectual property rights.
16.2 Psychic Sofa may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Website and/or the Website Services with immediate effect where reasonably necessary, including where you commit a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and practicable, Psychic Sofa may provide notice of suspension or termination, but is not required to do so where immediate action is justified. Material breaches include (without limitation):
16.2.1 failure to pay applicable Fees;
16.2.2 misuse, abuse or interference with the Website, Website Services or Reader Services;
16.2.3 providing false or misleading information; or
16.2.4 accessing or attempting to access the Website Services or Reader Services while under the age of 18.
16.3 Psychic Sofa may also suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Website, Website Services or access to Reader Services where reasonably necessary to protect users, Readers or third parties, preserve the integrity or security of the platform, or comply with legal, governmental or regulatory obligations, including where misuse is reported by a third party.
16.4 Where access has been suspended, restricted or terminated, you must not attempt to re‑register or access the Website Services or Reader Services using alternative details without Psychic Sofa’s prior written consent.
16.5 You may cancel your account at any time with immediate effect. Upon cancellation, your access to the Website and Website Services will cease. Any personal data held about you will continue to be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
17. Data Protection
17.1 We will only use your personal information in connection with the Website Services and any access to Reader Services as set out in our Privacy Policy: https://www.psychicsofa.com/help/privacy-policy.
17.2 Where you access the Website Services or Reader Services via a mobile device (including by telephone, text or the App), you may may receive promotional communications in accordance with applicable data protection and electronic marketing laws and our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of promotional text messages at any time by texting “STOP” to 67755.
18. Complaints
19. If you wish to make a complaint about the Website Services, please contact our Customer Services Team on the following dedicated email address complaints@psychicsofa.com or by contacting our Customer Service team using the details set out in clause 5.4.5. We will aim to acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable time. Complaints relating to Reader Services may be referred to the relevant Reader where appropriate.
20. Other important terms
20.1 Psychic Sofa will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events outside its reasonable control.
20.2 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Psychic Sofa relating to your use of the Website and Website Services.
20.3 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract. You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
20.4 Each of the conditions of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining conditions will remain in full force and effect.
20.5 If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
20.6 This agreement does not give rise to any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement.
20.7 If you wish to contact us in writing, or if any condition in these Terms requires you to give us notice in writing, you can send this to us by email or by pre-paid post to Psychic Sofa Limited at Psychic Sofa, PO BOX 338, Manchester M22 2EH. We will confirm receipt of this by contacting you in writing, normally by email. If we have to contact you or give you notice in writing, we will do so by email or by pre-paid post to the address you provide or confirm to us.
20.8 These Terms, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. We both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
