Life has taken me through some incredibly challenging experiences, including domestic and narcissistic abuse, divorce, addiction within my family and the devastating loss of a close family member to suicide. I have also experienced the challenges of being a single mum while rebuilding my life and building my own business from the ground up. There have been times when life felt incredibly dark and overwhelming, and I understand what it is like to feel lost, exhausted and unsure of how you are going to move forward. I also know how important it can be to have someone listen, offer support and remind you that there can be light beyond even the most difficult chapters. Along my journey, I have had the privilege of working with charities supporting victims of abuse and people experiencing homelessness, as well as helping many individuals through my own work with Empower Yourself. These experiences have shaped the person and reader I am today. They have given me a deep sense of empathy and an understanding that everyone's story is different. I never judge where someone is in their life or the circumstances that have brought them to a reading. I know first-hand how powerful it can be to find the right person, the right words or even a small glimmer of hope at the right moment. That is one of the reasons I chose to become a reader. I was helped by people and platforms that gave me somewhere to turn when I needed it, and I now want to offer that same sense of compassion, connection and hope to others. My readings are not about telling you what you must do or taking away your choices. They are about listening, sharing the intuitive information I receive and helping you find clarity, perspective and your own inner strength. If you are going through a difficult chapter, feeling stuck, searching for answers or simply need someone to listen, you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Sometimes, you just need someone to help you see that there is a way forward.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

What I love most about giving readings is seeing the shift that can happen for someone during a reading. People often come to me when they feel stuck, uncertain or simply need some clarity about what is happening in their life. I love being able to tune into the situation, provide insight and bring forward the messages and information I receive, while creating a safe, warm and non-judgemental space for the client. For me, a reading isn't about taking away someone's power or making decisions for them. It is about helping them see things from a different perspective, trust themselves and feel clearer and more empowered about the path ahead. The most rewarding part is when a client says, "You couldn't have known that" or leaves the reading feeling lighter, reassured and more positive about what comes next.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

As a Virgo, I would say I am naturally observant, intuitive and very aware of the little details that other people may sometimes overlook. I am also a perfectionist at heart and like to understand how things fit together. I can be analytical and grounded, but I also have a very strong intuitive side, which is an interesting combination. I'm naturally caring and practical and genuinely want to help people find clarity and move forward. I think my Virgo nature means I don't just listen to what someone says - I tend to notice the energy, details and little things around a situation too.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I remember being aware from a young age that I would sometimes know or sense things before they happened. There were occasions when I had a strong feeling that something was about to happen, only to find that it did. At the time, I didn't really understand what it was or know how to describe it - it was simply something I experienced. Interestingly, every time I had a psychic or spiritual reading myself, from the very first reading I ever had, I was often told that I had the energy of a reader. More than once, the person giving me the reading actually thought I was a reader too. I was told this repeatedly over a number of years, long before I ever considered becoming a reader myself. I found it fascinating, but I didn't fully trust or understand what they were seeing in me. It took me a long time to recognise and believe in my own intuition. As I've grown older, I've become much more aware of my intuition and have learned to recognise the difference between an ordinary thought and that deeper sense of knowing. One experience, in particular, has stayed with me. In 2014, I moved abroad with the intention of staying for around six months. I had wanted to live abroad since I was a teenager, so it was something I had really looked forward to. However, around four months into my time there, I began to experience a very strong and persistent feeling that I needed to come home. I couldn't explain why. There was no obvious reason for me to leave, and I was actually quite puzzled by the feeling because moving away had been something I had wanted for so long. Eventually, I listened to that feeling and returned to the UK. Just a couple of weeks later, my dad had a heart attack. Then, a few weeks after that, my brother sadly passed away. That experience had a profound effect on me. I couldn't explain where that strong feeling to come home had come from, but it made me take my intuition much more seriously. It was one of the experiences that made me realise that sometimes we can have a deep sense of knowing without being able to logically explain where it comes from. Over the years, my spiritual journey and the work I have done with others have helped me understand, develop and trust that side of myself. I have learned not to force intuition, but to listen to it, recognise it and allow the information to come through naturally. For me, being intuitive isn't about predicting every event or claiming to know exactly what will happen. It is about listening to that deeper sense of knowing and sharing the information that comes through in a way that can give people insight, clarity and another perspective on their lives.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

One of my most memorable experiences is when I have been able to bring through information that a client couldn't understand initially, only for them to realise exactly what it related to during or after the reading. I particularly remember the emotion of seeing a client's reaction when something very specific resonated with them - the kind of detail that makes them stop and say, "How could you possibly know that?" For me, those moments are incredibly special because it isn't simply about making a prediction. It is about the connection, the validation and the feeling that someone has received something meaningful at exactly the time they needed it. Some of the most memorable readings have also been the ones where a client has returned later to tell me that something we discussed had unfolded or made sense afterwards.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

My work as a reader is complemented by many years of experience working with people through my business, Empower Yourself. Through Empower Yourself I work across coaching, NLP, personal development, wellbeing, empowerment and self-discovery. I also facilitate workshops, courses, retreats and wellbeing events, including Mind, Body & Soul Fayres. My NLP and coaching experience have given me a strong understanding of how people think, communicate and respond to life experiences, while my personal development work has taught me the importance of listening without judgement and meeting each person where they are. I also have experience working with Tarot and intuitive practices, and I continue to develop my own spiritual and intuitive awareness. I believe this combination of intuition, personal development and real-life experience allows me to offer readings that are not only insightful, but also warm, grounded and empowering.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I believe the most important thing is to choose a reader you feel comfortable with and approach the reading with an open mind. A reading should never take away your own free will or make you feel that you have no control over your future. I believe we all have choices, and a reading can offer insight into possibilities, energies and situations that may help you see things more clearly. Come with an open mind but also trust your own intuition. If something doesn't resonate, you don't have to accept it simply because it has been said. My aim is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported and empowered - never frightened or dependent on a reading. Ultimately, your life is your own and your choices matter.
