About Angel J

Angel J works with both tarot and angel cards and is deeply connected to angel energy. She is direct as well as inspirational, and although she can offer a general reading, she works particularly well when connecting through specific questions about individuals or situations. She has worked as a Reiki therapist since 2001 and is able to sense blocks in your chakras or energy field. She is also a published author of several Mind, Body, Spirit books and loves to encourage you to step into your power. She strongly believes that “we make our life” and is happy to help guide you along your path toward positive change. Angel was adopted and therefore has deep understanding of the issues that can arise from this, such as feeling second best, not good enough, or experiencing feelings of rejection—wounds that often stem from childhood.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I'm very empathic and I love to help people. I enjoy encouraging clients to make their own decisions about life by helping them discover new ways to move forward. I will never say you must do this, or that, because ultimately that isn't up to me. Your decisions are your choices, but I will support clients to process their changes and to help them gain confidence in who they are. I tune directly into situations with the aid of my higher guidance. I love working with my guides and angels. I've been doing this work for many years now.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Yes, I'm a typical Cancerian in many ways. I am empathic, sensitive and I love to nurture others. Being a double Cancerian with both the sun and moon in Cancer can have it's challenges and advantages but it enables me to attune to people's energies very easily. I also have my north node in Leo which brings about a different aspect and encourages me to be bolder in speaking my truth.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I remember being a psychic child. I thought there was something the matter with me! I knew I was going to lose my first cat which was very upsetting! Later I gave readings to my friends at the local youth club with playing cards. My parents aid "I just said things" when I was a child, which they found a little strange. When I was in my late twenties I met a couple who both did readings and I went to their house for a tarot reading, from then on I was hooked. The weird thing was is that I used to see this couple at the bus stop when I was a teenager and I would wonder what they were talking about. I noticed they would say it was in the cards, or not in the cards and I was intrigued. Strange that I would meet them for a reading 15 years or so later!!

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

I was discussing past lives with a client and talked about her having a past life as a nun in France. She said that we were in that past life together. This lady was very connected to past lives. When she called me I always thought we had a close connection, but I certainly wasn't expecting that. Sometimes I can access past lives if your guidance wants to talk about it. It often comes up if something within a past life and this life is the same and it has come up in order to be healed.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I'm trained in Reiki healing and I've done one year of a counselling diploma. In addition I am a published writer that has written books on angels.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

The length of time they actually need for us to go into detail. If a client wants to go into things in great depth, that they allow enough time for us to do this. That they do not have to explain everything, as we can easily connect in, but if the client is able to open up about what they are looking for at the start of the reading i.e. career, romance, family matters, it saves time. I like to help clients to get the best out of their reading and for our communication to be as open as possible.
