Although I was probably about four when I had my first psychic experience, I was about six when it manifested properly in my life and I could understand what was happening. My mother entered me for the rose queen competition for our annual village fete. I felt really awkward and uncomfortable, but I knew I was going to win. Not from a place of ego, but just from a place of knowing - I just 'knew' I was going to win. In the years that followed my gift developed into clairsentience. From as young as seven I could sense what people around me were feeling, even if the adults around me couldn't. I have always had a strong sense of how genuine a person is within a few seconds of meeting them. When I was a teenager I started to learn about astrology and tarot. I fell in love with them, especially tarot. From there my interest and talent grew year on year, but I didn't became a professional psychic/tarot reader until I was in my late 20s.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

The best thing about giving reading to clients is when I can empower them to make good choices, even if they are very difficult. Validation and shock (in equal measure) at the accuracy of my readings is also a wonderful feeling, and lets me know I am on the right track. Many of my past clients have now become friends and it's truly amazing to see how their emotional and physical lives have developed over time.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I'm a typical Libran in that I like balance in all things. I'm a huge advocate for equality and libertarianism. I also love to be in love and love to see others in love too.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

From the age of about four, I could sense when the phone would ring, when the doorbell would ring and when teachers (other than my own) would walk into my school infant classroom (the latter one is weird I know). The first spirit encounter I had was at 13 years of age. I had been given a new bookcase and I displayed all of my books leaning to the left (5 shelves full) and when I woke up in the morning, all the books were leaning to the right.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

The most memorable was when I advised a client to go on a retreat by the sea, as I saw her meeting a nice man and strolling on the beach with him. She booked a yoga holiday in Spain a few months later, and met her future husband while he was walking his dog on the beach.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I am a qualified reiki master, and have a degree in Psychology - both help tremendously with my readings, as my energy has to be elevated during my sessions and being a great listener and interpreter of emotions is imperative.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

THE most important thing is to be open and honest. There is no judgment on my end, so I hope my clients feel they can trust me with their deepest thoughts. Also don't be afraid to ask questions - make the most of your reading by gaining as much information as you can, in order to move forward with your life in a positive, healthy way. Sometimes, the answers that the cards/guides give are not the ones you were hoping for, but they will be the answers for your highest good. You don't have to take any advice you don't want to, but at least be open to considering why those particular answers were given.
