I was introduced to meditation when I was Fourteen, as a way to reduce severe headaches I was having from a visual impairment I was born with. It was often during meditation that I would see things that would eventually happen, but not wanting to marginalise myself further, I kept quiet about it. Many years later, after surgery on my eyes, I unexpectedly had two near-death experiences, which transformed the way I experience the world. At that point, I knew I could no longer deny that I was called to do this work. Today I feel incredibly grateful and humbled to help people by sharing the abilities that come naturally to me.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy helping people find the answers they are looking for and surprising them when I can provide insights into their lives, especially when they can confirm definite facts that have either happened or will happen in the future. It helps us both to see that what's coming through is real. I also love hearing their feedback and how the information has helped them.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Sagittarians are known for helping others heal and this is something I feel strongly about. I am always there to help. I also have an enthusiastic and curious approach to life and like to explore the world and learn about different cultures.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I remember knowing I had different abilities to others as a child. I could often tell what was going to happen in certain situations, but never made this fact known to anyone for fear of being misunderstood. I eventually decided to do something about it later in life when I realised I could help people.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

In doing a reading, I saw a Mãori fighter and heard his changing. When I shared it with the client, she was shocked and told me she had a Mãori spirit guide who was her protector. I felt so connected to her and her guide, and it was a fantastic experience for both of us. As part of the reading, I shared with her that she needed to move away from the corporate work that was draining her. Realising it was true, she changed her life and is now working in a role she truly loves.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have worked as a folk musician for most of my life with a particular interest in Scots Gaelic tales and songs. My interest in Celtic folklore has hugely influenced my music and emotional journey. The Celts were definitely much more connected with nature and its circles than most people are today. Immersing myself in these stories and songs, I have deepened my own connection which has helped me to strengthen my psychic gifts. I have been receiving training to help develop my gifts. In addition, many of my earlier jobs have required me to listen to people, which is an essential factor in helping to guide people.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

Find someone you can connect with who can provide you with the answers you seek. Most people don't realise the answers to their issues are actually within them. Having a person to talk with who can give them an unbiased view of their situation can also help them see the whole matter differently, and give them the option of resolving past and present concerns in a more enlightened way.
