About Cosmic Tarot

Since I was a young girl, I knew I was different to some of my friends. I could sense people's energy if they were not very nice, and I was very sensitive to light, sound, smell and energy in certain houses and buildings. I would go to sleep with the radio on in the hope it would help me sleep and stop me from being scared. When I was about 8 or 9, a neighbour who was a friend of the family used to read tarot. One day, I was at her house, and she had her tarot cards out; we chatted about them, and I remember being fascinated; she said to me, "you will be reading Tarot one day”. In 2003 I bought some tarot cards for a friend as a gift as been told that Tarot should only be used if gifted. My friend never used them and gave them to me as a gift about a year later. He said he felt they were meant for me and not him. I started giving readings to friends and family, and before I knew it, I was really busy. A few years later, I met a lady there who told me you're psychic. I said yes, and she suggested I come to her circle as I had more gifts I hadn't fully tapped into. Before long, I was giving readings in the group. Over the next few years, I enrolled in various courses with Tony Stockwell and at Arthur Findlay College to gain further experience using my gifts to help others. Over the last twenty years, I have worked in different settings as a Tarot reader, including groups, one-to-one, events and on the phone. I now teach Tarot and various other courses.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I am in service as I have been gifted as a natural born Psychic. I read my clients energy through their voice and with the help of my guides. I also use my skills as an experienced Tarot reader. My speciality is love and relationship readings, and I love helping my clients to see the wood for the trees. I have witnessed many of my clients receiving much-needed healing and a sense of peace due to an intuitive energy Tarot reading. I love using the tarot, oracle cards, pendulum and my crystal ball, to help those clients who are at a crossroads or feeling stuck in some way in their lives by guiding them to other options available or by helping them gain more clarity on their present situation. My clients often say it has helped them feel more positive and lighter just by confiding in me about their struggles or difficult decisions they may have to make and to feel safe in the knowledge it has been said in confidence. I know how important it is not to feel alone when life is like an uphill struggle. I am an empath and like to help others feel happier and more positive.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I am a typical Gemini; excitable, changeable, and childlike, and I get bored easily if things are too routine. I love to explore different countries and cultures; I am forever curious about the world. I love spending time with my family and friends, going out to meet new people and finding out what makes people tick. I have never really grown up in many ways, I believe we grow old, but we do not have to grow up. I love spending time with my family, going for adventures in nature to find fairies and elves, and you will often find me skating along on the trolleys in the supermarket to make shopping more fun. I believe communication is the key to all relationships, and being ruled by Mercury, I find communicating with most people a pleasure.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

When I was a child, I would feel things others didn't; when I left school and started hairdressing at fifteen, my clients would say they felt they had much more than a haircut from me. I used to have certain clients book in with me for a scalp massage, and I realise now that I was giving healing through my hands without knowing. As I progressed to become a hairdresser, clients would also share personal things with me, I would use my psychic abilities to give them advice, and they'd come back saying that the things I'd said were true and ask for more advice.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

I have had many memorable moments over the years. This is one of my favourites…. A man came to me feeling lost, so I asked the Tarot and tapped into my Psychic abilities. I could see; clearly, he needed to be helping people, and maybe he could try going to help out with the homeless. He put a spread in the local paper asking and only had one reply; it didn’t lead to anything; then he sent out emails to different radio stations he got no reply; then he was at work and cut his finger and was talking to the site agent about what he was looking for and he said why not do it here, he was shocked after a couple of days the agent gave him the Ok. He had a place where the homeless could wash their clothes, dry them, shower and be fed, and get sleeping bags and tents. He had lost his direction, and with the help of his Intuitive Tarot reading, he found his direction and purpose in life in helping the homeless.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

Working in the community and with the public since leaving school has given me a lot of insight and experience working with people from all backgrounds and a broad spectrum of physical, mental, emotional and general life challenges. Being a Gemini, I am a natural communicator, very empathic and good at seeing situations from multiple points of view.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I would say choose a reader that: - you feel or sense a connection with - someone you can trust - is positive and optimistic and can show you different options that you may not know are there or have considered before - is balanced in their viewpoint and can see situations objectively - you know you can speak in confidence, and anything you say will be respected, not judged and not shared with anyone else - can help you feel happier and give you more clarity on your situation
