About Myriad

My psychic gift is inherited from both my maternal and paternal lines. My Nana always told me about the family gift and how it would grow as I got older. I was first aware of contact with Spirit, passed family members and my Guides when I was in primary school, although I didn't really understand what was happening then. By the age of 10 I realised that I could weigh up the possibilities of different outcomes coming to pass, and I was rarely wrong. My background is in health and social care, and as I have developed my esoteric skills more and more, it has become more and more difficult to separate my day job and my true calling. So, here I am, doing what is truly my dream job, ready to help and always doing my best for every client.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

It's really important to me that every person I read for feels seen, heard, understood and supported. I love being the link between Spirit and client, using this to empower clients to feel more in control, even in the most difficult of circumstances. Helping people and providing a turning point is amazing, I love seeing people go from strength to strength after an amazing reading from me - it really is what this is all about!

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I have an Aquarius sun and Virgo rising. My Aquarius side is eccentric for sure, absolutely idealistic and rebellious - probably why I do the job I do here on Psychic Sofa! My Virgo rising leads me to be practical and analytical as well as warm and nurturing. I'm a real homebody with a cuddly dog and a house full of plants and crystals.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I went to a church fair with my Nana when I was 5. There was a roulette table, the top prize for betting on the right colour, red or black, and the correct number, was a bottle of wine. I felt confused as I watched the adults place different bets, as it was somehow obvious to me that the correct bet was black 8. I thought that they might placing the wrong bets on purpose to let me win as I was a child. Round and round the metal ball went in the wheel, and of course it landed on black 8. My Nana's reaction helped me realize that this was not an ability that everyone had! She was happy to get that bottle of wine!

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

After years of practicing my Tarot skills on friends, colleagues and family, I took the plunge and booked a table at a psychic fair, thinking that I would just give it a go and see what happened. Well, the hours passed by in a blur as the intuitive information from Spirit flowed. I knew that I could trust that what I was feeling and experiencing emotionally was correct. It was like a film playing in my mind's eye, enabling me to see into the past and into the future for my client. Several readings had me and my client crying, at first from emotional pain, and as the reading progressed, happy tears as information came in from Spirit in a very healing and uplifting way. I knew that this was the job for me!

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have Reiki and Karuna Reiki to Master level which is a fantastic healing and cleansing modality to have. I also work very closely with my Guides and Angels. I have run several workshops this year on Angel work, contacting Spirit Guides and past life regression. I am involved in a few different groups, learning and teaching Tarot.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

Nobody's fate is set in stone. We all have free will, agency and control in our own lives, even when it feels like we are having to deal with one thing after another and we are struggling. Divination can show us what is the likely outcome, dependant on our actions and reactions. A good reading helps put things into perspective and helps us explore options together.
