About Sadie

An intuitive reader, I interpret visions, sometimes using Tarot Cards and Crystals, as a focus, trusting Spirit to guide me, and pass on whatever wants to come through. My maternal grandmother read using tealeaves, and was part of the Golden Dawn group in Dover at the beginning of the last century. I know she guides me. My mother gifted me my first Tarot cards when I was 12, Rider Waite cards, I was transfixed by the Hermit, who represents the soul searching that has been the main theme of my life. Feeling lost confused and uncertain, I now realise are necessary steps on the path of life. Asking spirit for guidance and thanking in advance paves the way for insight, and I ask you to do this and a meditation, or a few deep breaths before having a reading.

Creating the space to focus on the myriad of life options and choices presented to us is essential to progress through life, and having someone there to share, guide and support us with spiritual assistance can make that journey easier, and bring clarity to our situations, shed light on our path where sometimes confusion reigns supreme. We are here to find our own path, and everybody we encounter has their role to play in our own personal story, and I like consciously sharing that alchemical energy through reading. I believe everything happens for a reason, and if you are guided to me, it is because we have something to share.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy how I feel when spirit takes over, the connections, the 'aha' moments, and feel honoured somebody chooses to open up and share their life with me, and the joy of helping make sense of and add pieces of the puzzle to clients lives, revealing clarity. I suppose, in some way, sharing for a brief moment somebody else's journey through life. Other people’s lives are fascinating to hear about, as we all have such different paths, finding out about somebody's strengths and challenges, and giving them information that helps them is deeply rewarding

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

As a Gemini, I like variety, change, am adaptable, communication is important to me, and I usually see things from several different perspectives at the same time, which doesn't always make life easy. Being very independent, I need my own space, and balancing the two extremes of my character has been difficult at times. I like to feel free. Exploring, being lost, looking at non-conventional lifestyles and different cultures feeds my soul.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

As long as I can remember, my dreams had significance as to what was going on in my life, giving me guidance, and nudges either towards, or away from a situation. Also, daydreams guided me, gave me inspiration, and I spent a lot of my childhood a little 'detached' and in my own world. Sometimes a voice would warn me (I didn't always heed the advice) and I just thought this was normal for everyone.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

Helping guide somebody to what for her was absolute proof of the afterlife, after a loved one had passed, after a deeply personal message came through and feeling the simultaneous tears and joy and relief as this woman found her way. She hadn't been trusting what she was hearing and feeling, but opening up to another confirmed the communication she was receiving wasn't simply wishful thinking on her part, so although she still had the pain of grieving, she knew her loved one was still there, but just in a different way.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have read professionally for over 15 years, prior to that gaining life experience after University in a variety of fields, including journalism, market research, teaching abroad, lecturing, and parenting. My experience in different jobs, always to do with communication, plus voluntary work at schools and with the community has given me the opportunity to mix with people from all walks of life, from which I have learnt and shared a lot. I feel connecting with others, asking spirit to guide, helps empower them to make the choices that are right for them, and it is a gift and an honour that I take very seriously.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I ask clients to relax, possibly my doing meditation and asking Spirit for guidance, and try to determine, or be as clear as possible, what they hope to achieve from having a reading, what kind of insights they are looking for, and to intend to be open to whatever comes through. Sometimes our rational mind takes time to make sense of things that come through, and they may drop into place an hour or a day or so later, or spirit wants us to know something we've been avoiding. To feel drawn to a particular reader is helpful, trusting that spirit is guiding us all the time, it's simply that we're not always aware of it (we wouldn't be able to exercise free will if the answers were too obvious!)
