About Luna Star
Hi, I'm Luna! I'm a clairsentient tarot reader and have been studying tarot for the last 7 years. I found peace in tarot and have used it to help people ever since. I have a special passion for love readings because I'm just a girl dating in my 20's so I know exactly how messy it all gets. I can't explain how many times I've pulled out my tarot deck when I'm not getting a text back so there’s no judgement here! Think of me as your tarot reading bestie who can help guide you but also be a cheerleader! Looking forward to connecting! :)
What do you like most about giving readings to clients?
I met my tarot reader at a really tough time in my life many years ago. I was in a bad relationship and had a lot of family issues at the time and I remember thinking I was always going to be stuck in that situation. That first tarot reading was the moment I saw the light coming back in. Nothing in my situation had changed yet but I finally had hope again, and things did start getting better! I still see the same tarot reader to this day, even though I can read for myself now. Being able to be that person for someone else is why I do this.
How would you say you are typical of your star sign?
I always find these questions funny because I'm a Capricorn, but I have always identified so much more with my Aquarius rising! I definitely have Capricorn traits; I'm super determined and have been an overachiever for as long as I can remember. I also can be just a little stubborn and have to put every little thing on a list! But my Aquarius energy has always been the star of the show. I'm a free spirit and a real social butterfly. I've always done things my own way whether thats dying my hair every colour I can think of or walking into tattoo shops with no plan just a vibe!
When do you remember being first aware of your gift?
My earliest memory is a dream I had as a child where I was walking down the stairs and the grim reaper was standing at the end holding my mum’s car keys on one bony finger (lowkey still as vivid now, help!). I begged my mum to stay home with me that day, I remember crying at the door after she left and my gran pulling me away. Not long after leaving the house she had an accident at a busy junction. She was completely fine so maybe the grim reaper was a little dramatic but that was the moment I realised I had a gift and should keep trusting those feelings. Completely freaked out my parents who had no experience with this world, but at least I found my purpose with it!
What is your most memorable experience with a client?
Early on as a reader, I had a client who was in a truly difficult situation. She couldn't believe that any positive energy was coming in despite the cards. When that energy came in for her and I finally felt the weight being lifted off her, it was one of the most purposeful and special moments of my life. Now I know it's so common for people to feel that way, especially when they feel stuck in their current reality, but the feeling of helping them always feels like that first time! I also have the biggest soft spot for the 'I needed to hear that' moments! As someone who found an escape in tarot all these years ago, it means so much to me when I get to create that feeling in others.
What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?
When I first discovered tarot, I was actually at university studying psychology. The 2 years I studied gave me the tools to be able to understand both myself and others on a much deeper level, but I was starting to feel it wasn't the right path for me. I found it tough that I would have to keep a distance and not get personally involved. I've always known my purpose was to be able to help people, and in tarot I found that exactly! I enjoy being able to offer guidance and reassurance and just being someone that people can open up to.
What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?
The most important thing I always tell people is to not panic about the cards themselves. Most people have the biggest fear of pulling 'bad cards'. Pop culture’s definitely given the death card a bad rep but it's secretly a favourite of mine as someone who always welcomes change and growth! Everyone occasionally gets a bad card, but it's super important to remember that energy moves constantly and the cards will change just as fast!
